5. Assembly
1. Turn the folded frame tube around connection A to the position.
2. Turn the second frame tube around connection B to its position.
3. Turn the handle tube around connection C to its position.
4. Attach ALL 3 connections with the screws provided, and fasten them.
■INSTALLING PROTECTION SHIELD
Attach the protection shield (5) and gear cover (4) to the gearcase assy (6)
with the bolts (3), and tighten the bolts (3) securely.
■INSTALLING TRIMMER HEAD
1. Put the holder (2) onto the shaft underneath protection shield (5).
2. While locking the gear shaft by inserting the supplied tool into the
upper holder on the gearcase assy, rotate the trimmer head (1) to the gear.
Hand tighten it securely.
■INSTALLING SHAFT
Insert the shaft to the housing assy on the engine. Ensure that the hole on
the shaft is at the screw point on the housing, and tighten the bolt.
