3.4.
Engine oil
THE OIL HAS BEEN DRAINED FOR SHIPMENT.
Failure to fill the engine oil pan before starting the engine will cause permanent damage and void the engine
warranty.
3.5.
Working with the device
3.5.1.
STARTING THE ENGINE:
Before starting the engine, add oil and fuel.
Make sure the power take-off (PTO) lever is released and the speed change lever is in the idle position.
Set the throttle lever on the steering wheel to the middle position. If the engine is cold, turn on the suction
on the carburetor.
Pull lightly on the starter handle until you feel resistance, then pull vigorously and gently retract the starter
handle. Always grasp the starter handle with one hand to prevent the engine from "rolling back". After
starting the engine, let it idle for a few minutes to allow the oil to lubricate all moving parts.
Squeeze the engine shutdown lever and grasp the clutch lever to engage the gears and drive the tool. If
engagement does not occur immediately, release the clutch lever slightly and make a few light movements
on the clutch.
Connect the power take-off (PTO), turn it on, and move the shift lever to the desired position.
Slowly and completely release the clutch lever to begin operation.
3.5.2.
Engine stoppage
Slow down the speed, shift the power take-off (PTO) lever and the shift lever to neutral, and fully release the
engine stop lever.
3.5.3.
Adjustment of the working depth of the tiller (optional
equipment)
Lowering the depth control rod will result in deeper ground penetration and a slower drive.
Raising the depth control rod will result in shallower ground penetration and a faster ride
Tiller depth adjustment:
Remove the mounting bolt.
Raise or lower the depth control rod to the desired position.
Install the mounting bolt.
3.5.4.
Cutting height adjustment of the strip mower (optional
equipment)
Loosen the nut.
Move the sliding pad back to the desired position.
Lock the nut again.
3.6.
Cleaning and maintenance
a)
Turn off the engine and disconnect all control levers. The engine must be cool.
b)
Check the general condition of the unit Check for loose screws, misalignment or jamming of moving
parts, cracked or broken parts, and other problems that may affect its safe operation.
c)
Remove all debris from the device with a soft brush, vacuum cleaner, or compressed air. Then use light
machine oil of the highest quality to lubricate all moving parts.
d)
Clutch: when the clutch wears out, the same lever can have a wider opening, which is very inconvenient
to use. This means that the cable must be adjusted by setting the clutch lever to its original position,
acting on the adjustment device and the counter-nut.
