Installation process:

Installation of the radio should be undertaken by a specialist workshop. Special tools are needed for the installation
as well as detailed, vehicle-specific manuals. Incorrect installation may cause damage to the vehicle or the radio.

The work to be performed, as described in these installation instructions, may vary in some circumstances as a
result of model improvement measures. As such, changes to the wiring colours or even the fitting sites cannot be
discounted. In view of this, please ensure that you always use the appropriate current circuit diagram or the current
vehicle workshop manual.

1.1 Removing the radio

1.2 Mount the fitting frame
only required when fitting RMT 200 in vehicles with trapezium bay

In order to ensure the clearance of the connecting plug at the rear of the RMT 200, you have to rework the fitting
frame.
File the nib on the rear side of the fitting frame flush using a file -arrows A-.
With several vehicles, it may also be necessary to shorten the fixing tab on the front side of the fitting frame a little
-arrows B-.
Insert the fitting frame into the installation bay of the vehicle and check that the fixing tab has sufficient clearance.
If necessary, shorten the fixing tab of the fitting frame using a file -arrows B-.
Insert the fitting frame into the installation bay of the vehicle and screw tight.
Fit the coverings of the vehicle in reverse order.
