MAKING DOWEL JOINTS
Making corner joints
The various work pieces for constructing a cupboard are shown in (Fig. 4).
- Before drilling, always check that the inner part of the system is perfectly up against the work
piece.
- Always match the system with the work piece, starting from the front edge; when drilling in
the edge, the clamps must be pointed towards the opposite side, never in any other direction!
This will create a 0.8mm facet.
- Check drilling depth before drilling.
- If the drilled hole is not clean, sharpen the drill bit.
