Faults
Motor does not start
The pump is running but there is no
output flow
Thermal protector for the motor

Water does not come out at the

All maintenance work must be carried out by authorised and qualified personnel.
WARNING
Risk of electric shock
Danger from electrical current must be eliminated. Before carrying out
electrical work, the pump must be de-energised (switched off) and pro-
tected against unauthorised restarting. It is recommended to disconnect
the plug.

No special maintenance required during operation

Keep the pump clean
•
If the pump is deactivated for a long period and there is no risk of freezing, it is best not
to drain the pump.
In the event of prolonged absence, be sure to cut off the mains water supply and protect
the installation from freezing.

Causes
Thermal protector
Faulty cord connection
Cord disconnected or damaged
Trouble in the motor
The voltage of the power supply to the pump is
too low
Water level in well is lower than standard level
Trouble in check valve
Air drawn into suction pipe
Air drawn into pump from mechanical seal
The voltage of the power supply to the pump is
too low or high
Impeller is contact with other parts
Short or open circuit of the capacitor
Air drawn into suction pipe
Water leaks at piping or pump
Water leaks at mechanical seal
Trouble in check valve
Defacement or transformation of the impeller
If you cannot remedy the fault, please contact Wilo customer service.
Remedies
If the motor is overheated, it doesn't operate.
Then, wait till getting cold (usually take about
20~30 min.)
Insert the power plug securely
Replace the cord
Repair or replace the motor
Check the voltage of the power supply and con-
sult with the local power supplier
Check the water level in well
Take off the check valve case and then, clean the
valve, valve seat and valve hole
Check for leaks in the entire pipe up to the pump
and seal when any leaks found
Replace the mechanical seal
Check the voltage of the power supply and con-
sult with the local power supplier
Repair the defects
Repair or replace the capacitor
Check for leaks in the entire pipe or replace the
defective piping (to prevent air leaking)
Repair piping, pump parts and faucets etc.
Replace the mechanical seal
Take off the check valve case and then, clean the
valve, valve seat & valve hole
Replace the impeller
