Wrap the mounting piece with Teflon tape.
Install the mounting piece.
Both ½" and ¾" installations
The mounting piece should extend 1⅛" outside the
surface of the finished wall.
Seal the wall around the nipple using
waterproof sealant.
Failure to seal the wall may lead to
water damage.
Position the support over the mounting piece.
Mark the position of the screw hole.
Do not drill into a water line!
