9.2 Clean dust fi lter (haaga 477 / 497 Profi )
1. Remove the sweeping container from the
sweeping machine, see section "Empty
sweeping container" in Section 7.5 of this
operating manual.

2. Pull the dust fi lter (1) up from the guides (2).
3. Open the plastic housing (3) of the dust fi lter
and remove the foam insert (4).
4. Pound out the foam insert (4) and clean it with
water.
5. Place the dry foam insert back into the plastic
housing.
6. Slide the dust fi lter back into the guides.
7. Insert the sweeping container into the
sweeping machine.
9.3 R emove blockage
• Remove wound-up material (e.g. cords,
threads, etc.) from the brooms and axes.
• Remove jammed material (e.g. stones, twigs,
leaves etc.).

9.5 Clean the device

• Protect the bearings against moisture.
• Do not clean the plate brooms and the fi ne dirt
sweeping roll with compressed air.
