Re-adjusting the routing depth

The routing depth can be readjusted using the
dial
.

Release the clamping lever
clockwise. Push the appliance downwards until
the depth stop
rests against the step stop

Lock the clamping lever
clockwise.

Undo the locking screw
adjust the routing depth adjustment scale (depth
stop)
so that you can set the exact zero
point, for example. Retighten the locking screw

clockwise and raise the appliance again. Check
the routing depth by means of another practical
test.

Set the desired routing depth to the lowest step
(0 mm) of the step stop

The router must always be moved against the
direction of rotation of the router bit (up cut).
ATTENTION! When routing in the direction of
rotation (down cut), the power tool can be ripped
out of your hand.
Routing operation
Adjust the desired routing depth as described
above.

Place the appliance onto the workpiece and
switch it on.
♦
Release the clamping lever
clockwise. Push the appliance downwards until
the depth stop
rests against the step stop
♦
Lock the appliance by turning the clamping
lever
anticlockwise.
♦
Carry out the routing process at a uniform
speed and contact pressure.
