Switch device on

1. Ensure that the condensation tank is empty and
inserted correctly. Otherwise, the device will not
operate!
2. Insert the mains plug into a properly secured
mains power socket.
3. Switch the device on via the rotary switch (12) by
turning it clockwise (e.g. to NORMAL). => The
operation indicator light (11) lights up.
4. Check whether the condensation tank indicator
light (10) is out.
5. Preselect the room humidity level with the rotary
switch (12).
6. Alternatively activate continuous operation mode
using the rotary switch (12). To do so, turn the ro-
tary switch to the right to CONTINUOUS.

Normal operation mode

In normal operation mode the device stops the dehu-
midification, once the desired room humidity has been
reached. When the humidity in the rooms increases,
the device automatically resumes operation. To start
continuous operation mode, turn the rotary
switch (12) to NORMAL.

Continuous operation mode

In continuous operation mode, the device dehumidi-
fies the air constantly, regardless of the humidity in
the air.
To start continuous operation mode, turn the rotary
switch (12) to the right to CONTINUOUS.

Automatic defrost

If the room temperature is below 12 °C, the evapora-
tor becomes covered in frost during dehumidification.
In that event the device carries out an automatic de-
frost. The defrost indicator light (9) lights up.
