FILL WITH TRANSMISSION OIL
•
Place suitable oil receptacle under quick-release coupling (A) of oil pan.
•
Use oil thrower (1.1) from assembly tool to remove quick-release coupling.
•
Mount adapter (2) and connect oil dispenser.
•
Pump automatic transmission fluids (ATF) into transmission.
•
Disconnect adapter (2) and oil dispenser and screw in quick-release coupling (A).
CONNECT DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM AND DETERMINE TRANSMISSION OIL TEMPERATURE
•
Transmission 725.0 in model 205, 222, 253, 166, 172, 207, 212, 218 with code 805 (Model year
2015)
•
In XENTRY call up the "Adjust oil level" menu item.
•
Throughout the entire test, the parking brake must not be released and no other disturbance
variables may be generated, that are not required for the work procedure. All these factors would
interrupt the measurement and then require a restart.
•
Allow gear oil to cool to less than the limit value
•
Use oil thrower from assembly tool to remove quick-release coupling (A)
•
Wing must be set to position 1 (Pos.1). Lock special tool (1.2) from assembly tool to oil pan by
applying light upward pressure.
•
Start the engine and heat up gear oil.
•
Set special tool to position 3 (Pos. 3).
•
Allow oil to drain off.
•
Align special tool (1.2) with position 1 (Pos. 1) and pull off the special tool.
•
Screw in quick-release coupling (A).
•
Turn off engine.
•
Disconnect diagnostic system.
