• Do not pull the cable when the plug needs to
come out of the socket. Pull out the actual plug
instead.
• Avoid at lifting or carrying the machine by the
cable.
• Keep the cable away from heat or sharp
objects.
• Avoid the possibility of being able to pull on or
trip over the cable or extension cable.
• Use only approved extension cables that are
intended for the machine's power.
• The cables must on average be at least 1.5
mm2. If the extension cable is on a drum, the cable
must be fully unwound before the machine is
used.
Storage
Disconnect the machine from the mains and place it in
a dry, safe place out of the reach of children when the
machine is not in use.
Handling
Avoid inadvertently starting the machine. Always make
sure that the machine is turned off before you connect
it to the mains, and avoid carrying a connected ma-
chine with your finger on the switch.
Work surroundings
• Dirty and messy work areas that are
difficult to access constitute an accident
risk.
• Always ensure that you have good work
lighting.
• Use good and appropriate work positions
where you are in a balanced position and can grip
your machine securely.
• If possible, secure the work object in a vice
or similar.
• Never use the machine in the vicinity of lammable
liquids or gases.
