• Avoid damage to the power cable from crushing, bending or chafing on sharp edges
and keep it at a safe distance from hot surfaces and open flames.
• Do not remove the power plug from the socket by pulling on the cable and do not wind
the power cable around the unit.
• Place the power cable in a position where it will not be unintentionally jerked or tripped
over.
• Children or persons lacking knowledge or experience with the device or whose physical,
sensorial or cognitive abilities are restricted may not use the unit without supervision or
instruction by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children must be supervised so they don't play with the unit.
• The stainless steel pan is electrically heated. Under no circumstances may the plastic
housing be filled with water or other liquid.
Danger of electrocution!
• Never attempt to repair the unit personally. If needed, allow only qualified professionals
repair it.
Warning, mortal danger!
• Never immerse the unit in water or other liquids while cleaning or operating.
Never hold the device under running water or other liquids.
• Never touch the power plug with wet or moist hands.
• Do not place any foreign objects into the device.
• Do not, under any circumstances, open the casing.
• Prior to cleaning or if the device not going to be used for an extended period of
time, always unplug the power.
• Do not place the device on hotplates (gas, electrical, coal oven, etc.). Keep the
device at a safe distance from all hot surfaces.
• Always operate the device on a flat, stable, clean, fire-resistant and dry surface and out
of the reach of children.
• Position the device such that the power switch and power plug are always accessible.
• Do not operate the device with moist hands or while standing on a wet floor.
• Allow the device to cool at a location that is safe and inaccessible to children. Prior to
cleaning or placing into storage, the device must cool for at least 30 minutes.
Danger of burning!
• Parts of the unit, especially the stainless steel pan and the cover, can become hot during
use.
