5. CHANGING THE MOTHERBOARDS
5.1 Changing the circuit board
In case the PCB is substituted it is necessary to initialize a new board.
Only qualifi ed and authorized personnel can access to the internal part of the electrical board and change or personalize
some parameters.
PAY ATTENTION TO THE PARTS WITH VOLTAGE!
The USB drive, provided together with the machine, contains the pre-confi gured installation program of the manufacturer
to initialize both the boards.
To replace the PCB and load the fi rmware, proceed as following:
Turn off the wall-mounted main switch
Remove the lower door panel to access to the technical compartment, by unscrewing the screws.
Substitute the PCB with the new one, taking care to reposition all the electrical connectors in the correct way by helping
with the wiring diagram supplied with the machine.
Note:
Pay attention to the dip switch position on the old PCB, in order to restore the same positions also on the new one.
Insert the USB drive in the PCB (position
Turn on the wall-mounted main switch
At this stage pay the maximum attention because in the technical compartment there are live components.
ELECTROCUTION RISK!
The fi rmware inside the USB drive is automatically transferred and installed. The operation requires few seconds.
During data loading the red USB LED fl ashes, (position
Reassemble the lower door panel and fasten with the screws previously removed.
If also the display board has to be substituted, see paragraph
5.2 Changing the display board
In case the display board is substituted it is necessary to load the fi rmware.
Only qualifi ed and authorized personnel can access to the internal part of the machine and change or personalize some
parameters.
PAY ATTENTION TO THE PARTS WITH VOLTAGE!
The USB drive, provided together with the machine, contains the pre-confi gured installation program of the manufacturer
to initialize the display board.
To replace the display board and load the fi rmware, proceed as following:
Turn off the wall-mounted main switch
Open the door and remove the screws in front of the cover panel
panel towards the front of the machine (see pict. 3).
PAY ATTENTION WHEN SLIDING THE COVER PANEL NOT TO PULL OR NOT TO CUT THE DISPLAY CONNECTION-
CABLE.
Remove the round rubber plug from the display internal protection box
Disconnect the cable from the display
Completely remove the cover panel.
Remove the plastic protection box
Substitute the display board
adheres to the panel (see pict. 7).
Reassemble the cover panel on the machine leaving the space to reconnect the display cable. Insert the round rubber
plug on its side.
Remove the USB rectangular plug
Insert the USB drive in the display board
Turn on the wall-mounted main switch
The fi rmware inside the USB drive is automatically transferred and installed. The operation requires few seconds.
During data loading the keys
Once fi nished the fi rmware loading the display shows the message
The display restarts.
Insert the rectangular plug on the USB key.
Completely close the cover panel, paying attention not to pinch the display connection cable.
