Note: Only foods with a maximum temperature of 60°C may be processed in the mixing jug. In this
case, do not fill the jug more than halfway, and firmly hold the lid down on the jug by hand during
operation.
▪ The blades are very sharp. Always hold the blades by the base.
▪ Never touch the cutting edges. Never attempt to sharpen the blades, disassemble them or remove
them from the base.
▪ Do not operate the device and/or immediately remove the mains plug if:
the device or mains cable are damaged
you suspect a defect after it has fallen or a similar incident.
Send the device to be repaired in these cases.
▪ Do not immerse the drive unit in water.
▪ In the case of misuse, incorrect operation or improper repairs, we accept no liability for any
damage caused. Warranty payments are also excluded in such cases.
▪ Misuse may cause potential injury.
▪ The device is not intended for commercial use.
▪ Always use original WMF parts and accessories. Any use of third-party accessories will invalidate
your guarantee.
▪ When using dry and/or hard ingredients, the mixing container may become scratched or dull-
looking. This has no negative impact on the performance of the mixer, is no cause for concern
regarding food safety and does not indicate a flaw.
Use
The device is suitable for mixing and chopping foods such as fruits, vegetables and nuts as well as for
preparing juices, smoothies and shakes.
After mixing/blending, the 700 ml and 500 ml mixing containers can be used as drinking bottles by
replacing the blade unit with a drinking cap. The small 300 ml container is suitable for milling and
chopping harder ingredients such as coffee beans, nuts and cereals. All containers and blade units can
be combined with each other as desired.

Getting started

Clean the device before use as described in the chapter entitled "Cleaning and care."
Using the mixing containers (500 ml and 700 ml)
1. Cut the desired ingredients into small pieces and place them in the mixing container (11 or 12).
Please note the MAX mark on the relevant container. Always add at least 100ml of liquid (e.g.
water, juice or milk) to ensure that you get a homogeneous mixture.
Tip: The light ingredients should always sit on the blade unit. As the container is rotated to close it,
we recommend that you add the light ingredients to the container last of all.
2. Now screw in the blade unit (5) by twisting it clockwise onto the mixing container. Check that the
blade unit is fastened firmly to the mixing container and forms a tight seal.
3. Stand the mixing container on the relevant recesses in the drive unit (6) and turn the container in
a clockwise direction until it locks into place.
Warning: The appliance only works if the mixing container is attached correctly. A safety
shutdown prevents operation without the mixing container.
4. Now plug the appliance into a mains socket.
5. Press the on/off switch (8) to turn the appliance on. The LED ring lights up.
6. Select the desired speed: If you press and hold down the pulse button (7), the device will run
14
at full speed until you let go of the button again. This is particularly recommended for mixing
layers of ingredients or for chopping ice. The MIN/MAX button (9) offers two speeds. If you press
the button once, the appliance runs at low speed. If you press it again, the speed increases to the
maximum. To stop the appliance, press the MIN/MAX button again. Both speeds run for a maximum
of 60 seconds before mixing is halted automatically. Mixing may be repeated, although you should
first allow the device to cool down for about a minute.
7. Switch off the device by pushing the On/off button. The LED ring goes off.
Note: You can also stop the mixing process anytime by pushing the On/off switch.
8. Unplug the appliance from the mains before removing the mixing container from the drive unit by
turning the container in an anticlockwise direction.
9. Turn the mixing container upside-down so that the blade unit is pointing upwards.
10. Turn the blade unit in an anticlockwise direction and remove it.
Caution! Never place the blade unit with the blades pointing downwards. This can damage the
blades and scratch surfaces.
11. You can now pour out your smoothie, juice or shake. Alternatively, you can also use the mixing
container as a bottle. For this you must screw a drinking cap (10) onto the mixing container.
Using the 300 ml mixing container
The small mixing container is particularly suitable for dry ingredients, which you can chop or cut up
using the flat or cross blade. We recommend always using the pulse function for this so that you can
regulate the duration and intensity of the mixing process. However, you should not mix for longer
than 30 seconds at a time. You can then repeat the process after a pause of about one minute.
Fill and close the mixing container as described in the chapter entitled "Using the mixing containers
(500 ml and 700 ml)." Having successfully chopped up your ingredients, remove the mixing container
from the drive unit and unscrew the blade unit.
A lid (15) is supplied for storing the prepared ingredients, if desired.
Using the mixing jug (1200 ml)
1. Remove the lid (2) from the mixing jug and turn it upside-down. Then attach the desired blade unit
to the base of the jug by turning it in a clockwise direction. We recommend using the cross blade
(5). Check that the blade unit is fastened firmly to the jug and forms a tight seal.
2. Turn the jug back around and add the desired ingredients, which you have previously chopped into
small pieces. Please note the MAX mark. Always add at least 100ml of liquid (e.g. water, juice or
milk) to ensure that you get a homogeneous mixture.
Tip: First fill with the light ingredients and the liquid.
3. Place the lid on the jug. Ensure that the lid is attached firmly and the closing cap (1) is inserted
correctly. The filler opening can be used to add extra ingredients to the jug whilst mixing.
Warning! Moving blade may cause splashing!
4. Now follow instructions numbers 3-8 in the chapter entitled "Using the mixing containers (500 ml
and 700 ml)."
5. Remove the lid from the jug to pour out your freshly prepared smoothie or shake.
Cable winder
If you want to wind up the cable, you can use the velcro tape provided.
