BEFORE THE FIRST USE
· Check the inner cooking plates to make sure they are clean and free of dust. Clean them
with a damp cloth. Use indoors only. If the appliance is switched on, do not leave it
unattended. Grease both sides of the cooking plates lightly.
· Plug into the socket. The red lamp will light up. Before you can start baking, you need
to preheat the waffle appliance. With the waffle-maker closed, this will take about 3 to
5 minutes. The green light will turn on indicating that the waffle-maker has reached the
correct temperature.
· When using the appliance for the first time there may be a slight smell and light smoke
from the cooking plates. This is normal. For hygienic reasons, do not eat the first waffles
made, throw them away.
USE
BAKING WAFFLES
1.
Pour, when the green light goes on, the waffle batter into the middle of the lower plate.
Use a wooden or heatproof plastic spatula to dough to distribute the batter evenly over
the baking plates. Then use the handle to close.
2.
The baking time is determined by the position of the dial used for selecting the degree
of browning (light, medium, maximum). For golden waffles it's best to turn the dial to
"medium" (Middle position).
3.
Once the waffle is ready, remove it gently with a wooden or heatproof plastic spatula to
loosen the sides. Never use metal objects, because they can damage specially coated
non-stick surface.
