Setting the On/Off switching point:
The ON/OFF switching point can be infi nitely ad-
justed with the height adjustment facility. For this
purpose you must fi rst slacken the screw (Fig. 3,
Item 3). The switching diff erential can be infi nitely
adjusted by extending or shortening the fl oat
cable (Fig. 3).
The floating switch must be fitted so that the
switching point height: ON and the switch
point height: OFF can be reached easily and
with little force. Check this by placing the
equipment in a container filled with water
and carefully raising and lowering the floating
switch with your hand. You can then see whe-
ther the equipment switches on and off.
Make sure that the distance between the floa-
ting switch head and the cable holder is not
too smaller than 10 cm (Fig. 3). If the distance
is too small, there is no guarantee that the
equipment will work correctly.
When adjusting the floating switch, make
sure that the floating switch does not touch
the bottom before the equipment is switched
off. Important! Risk of dry running.
Manual operation:
Mount the fl oating switch as illustrated in Fig. 1.
The equipment will then run continuously. To pre-
vent dry running, this operating mode is allowed
only under supervision. The equipment must be
switched off (pull out the power plug) as soon as
no more water is emitted from the discharge line.
Dirty water mode (Fig. 4/5):
Turn the equipment counter-clockwise up as
far as the stop (Fig. 4/5).
Shallow suction mode (Fig. 5):
Turn the equipment clockwise down as far as
the stop (Fig. 5).
In shallow suction mode, water can be su-
cked up down to a level of 1 mm.
Only clean water can be sucked up in shallow
suction mode.
Please note:
For the equipment to suck up water in shallow
suction mode there must be a minimum depth of
10 mm of water.

7. Replacing the power cable
Danger!
If the power cable for this equip-
ment is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or
its after-sales service or similarly
trained personnel to avoid dan-
ger.
8. Cleaning, maintenance and
ordering of spare parts
Danger!
Always pull out the mains power plug before star-
ting any cleaning work.
8.1 Cleaning
Keep all safety devices, air vents and the
motor housing free of dirt and dust as far as
possible. Wipe the equipment with a clean
cloth or blow it with compressed air at low
pressure.
We recommend that you clean the device
immediately each time you have finished
using it.
Clean the equipment regularly with a moist
cloth and some soft soap. Do not use
cleaning agents or solvents; these could at-
tack the plastic parts of the equipment. Ensu-
re that no water can seep into the device. The
ingress of water into an electric tool increases
the risk of an electric shock.
8.2 Cleaning the intake cage and pump
housing (Fig. 5/6/7/8):
1. Screw out the three screws (Fig. 6/Item B)
counter-clockwise.
2. Turn the equipment up as far as the stop (Fig.
5). Note the position of the lug (Fig. 5/Item A)
and remove the intake cage (Fig.7/Item 4).
3. Clean the intake cage (Fig. 7/Item 4) and the
pump impeller housing (Fig.7/Item C) with
clean water.
4. Assemble in reverse order.
5. When assembled, the lug must be in the cor-
rect position (Fig. 8/Item A).
