MicroRay IR-100
Hand-Held Infrared
Non-Contact Thermometer
Instruction Sheet
Warning identifies conditions and actions that pose hazards to the user. To avoid electrical shock or personal
injury, follow these guidelines:
Do not point laser directly at eye or indirectly off reflective surfaces.
Replace the batteries as soon as the battery indicator appears.
Do not operate the thermometer around explosive gas, vapor, or dust.
To avoid a burn hazard, remember that highly reflective objects will result in lower than actual temperature
measurements.
DO NOT STARE INTO BEAM OR VIEW DIRECTLY WITH
OPTICAL INSTRUMENTS.
Max output: <1mW - Wavelength: 630-670nm
Class 2 laser product conforms to IEC/EN 60825-1:2001.
To avoid damaging the thermometer or the
equipment under test, protect them from the
following:
CE Certification
This instrument conforms to the following standards:
EN 50081-1: 1992, Electromagnetic emissions
EN 50082-1: 1992, Electromagnetic susceptibility
Display

2 - HOLD indicator
3 - Laser indicator
4 - Temperature value
5 - °C / °F engineering unit
Buttons
(see figure 2, 3)
Trigger
ENT
If the trigger is pulled the unit will switch on. The laser will turn off and the
display is HOLD when he trigger is released. However, the backlight remains
on for 5 seconds. If no button is pressed for 30 seconds the unit will turn off.
If in Set mode, it accepts the parameter change.
Function Button
If in measure mode, it cycles through the function loop.
If in Set mode, it increases the value.
