Drainage connection
The domestic waste water system must be vented.
Ensure venting, e.g. through connection to a sink or via
a funnel siphon.
The siphon must have a suitable connection.
Important:
The waste water hose must not be higher than the lower
edge of the appliance at any point. The waste water
hose should not be kinked, crushed or twisted round.
Check that there is no cover in the waste water
connection preventing the flow of the water. Remove if
necessary.
1
Position the hose with a continuous slope to avoid a
bend.
Fig. 10 I
2
Shorten the hose if necessary.
3
Place the hose clamp for the adapter and the
adapter on the waste water hose and screw the
hose clamp tight.
Fig. 11 I-IV
4
Remove the cap from the adapter.
5
Place the hose clamp on the adapter.
6
Slide the adapter onto the waste water connection
or hang it into a funnel siphon. When connecting to
a waste water connection, use the hose clamp to
secure the adapter.
7
Check the connections and waste water connection
for leaks.
8
Check the water drainage. To do so, slowly pour
approx. 17 fl.oz. (0.5 l) water from a container, e.g.
jug, into the drip tray. The water must drain off
completely.
Fig. 13
If the water fails to drain off, check the installation
of the hose and the waste water connection
according to the information in these installation
instructions.
