1. Before first use, rinse the inside and wipe the outside of the kettle with a damp cloth.
2. Press the button to open the lid, and fill the kettle with water. It is also possible to fill the
kettle through the spout, without opening the lid. Make sure the water level is visible in the
water level indicator, but not exceeding the MAX. mark.
3. Place the base unit on a firm and flat surface. Plug the mains plug into a wall socket. Excess
cord can be wound into the bottom of the base unit.
Fill to at least 0.3L to ensure that the temperature shown on the display is reliable.
