› Clip the strip into the bumper spoiler.

› Remove the protective sheet from the adhesive tapes on both sides of the strip.
› Press the strip onto the bumper spoiler several times in the area of the adhesive tape.

› Insert the cover cap for the towing lug into the groove between the bumper spoiler and the
strip, and gently push it in as far as it will go in the direction of the arrow.

› Remove the cover cap by gently applying pressure to the cap in accordance with the figure,
and removing it in the direction of the arrow.
Remove the four central screws on the underside of the bumper spoiler and remove the
foam supports. Screw the screws back into the bumper spoiler.
Provide the customer with the following information when return-
ing the vehicle (fig. 31)
Within 48 hours of bonding the rear bumper spoiler, the following must be observed:
› Do not drive faster than 100 km/h so that the bumper spoiler is not mechanically
stressed in any way.
› Do not drive the vehicle through a car wash.
This information must be followed in order to guarantee high-quality bonding of the
bumper spoiler to the rear bumper.
Inform the customer how to remove and refit the cover cap for the towing lug; if neces-
sary, cut out pages 14 and 15 from the instructions and give them to the customer.
