Heating Mod/Var Ramp RTS-HR1
The stability of the blinds may vary when subject to rain or wind. The installer must ensure that the
safety distances given in section 3.4 are observed at all times, when the products are in use.

3. Installation

3.1 Contents of the kit

h. Headless screw x 4

3.3 Installation recommendations

Note: The Heating Mod/Var Ramp RTS-HR1 must be installed in a location sheltered from bad
weather, and out of the reach of children.
- Never install the Heating Mod/Var Ramp RTS-HR1 near any metal surfaces as this may reduce
the radio range.
- Do not install the equipment close to any flammable objects, such as curtains, etc.
- If the Heating Mod/Var Ramp RTS-HR1 is placed under an awning, ensure that the fabric of
the awning is at the recommended distance from the heater when the awning is both open and
closed.
- Check the radio range before fitting the Heating Mod/Var Ramp RTS-HR1.
- The radio range may be limited by radio appliance control standards.
- If the equipment is installed outdoors, ensure that the opening of the heater panel with its protective
grille is not facing upwards.
- Do not touch the Heating Mod/Var Ramp RTS-HR1 while it is on and while it is cooling down.

3.4 Safety distances

Caution! Avoid installing the equipment close to plug sockets,
distribution units, electrical lines or switches.

3.5 Installing the Heating Mod/Var Ramp RTS-HR1

Caution! IR halogen lamps are sensitive to substances which contain sodium. Avoid direct contact
with the skin (e.g. do not touch) as this risks reducing the service life of the heating tube.
Caution! Before installing the Heating Mod/Var Ramp RTS-HR1, ensure that the safety distances
detailed in the "Safety distances" section have been followed.
Note: The Heating Mod/Var Ramp RTS-HR1 has 3 grooves on the
back enabling it to be positioned in 3 different ways.
Note: The pivoting joints (c) can be used to further incline the Heating
Mod/Var Ramp RTS-HR1 by a maximum of 30°.
