SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS
Read the following advice carefully.
• This appliance is intended only for domestic use.
• The socket to which the appliance is connected must have a fuse of at least 6 A.
• Never switch on the appliance without first filling it with oil or fat.
• Never immerse the appliance in water.
• Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
• Never move the appliance during use. The oil or fat becomes very hot and you could burn yourself.
Don't move it until it has cooled down.
• Never leave the appliance unattended. Be especially vigilant when children are around. The appliance
and the various parts get extremely hot, so only pick up the pan by the handles.
• Always place the appliance on a firm surface and keep inflammable objects at a safe distance.
• Make sure the appliance is not placed so close to the edge of the table or worktop that it could be
knocked off, and make sure the flex is not lying where someone could trip over it or get caught on it.
• The appliance should not be placed close to or on top of a hot cooking ring.
• Keep the appliance away from water when in use and when the oil or fat is still hot. Water will spatter
in hot oil or fat. For the same reason, the food should be dried with kitchen paper before frying and
surplus ice should be shaken off.
• Unplug the appliance immediately after use.

mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given initial supervision
