Over the course of time dust can accumulate between the spokes in the fan housing, and on the fan
blades. Always begin by trying to remove the dust with a brush and/or vacuum cleaner. If this does not
remove all the dust you can always dismantle the fan and clean it:
1. Remove the plug from the wall socket.
2. Release the clips around the rim of the fan
housing.
3. Use a small crosshead screwdriver to remove
the crosshead screw at the bottom of the fan
housing.
4. Remove the front of the fan housing.
5. Clean the fan blades with a damp cloth. Dry
thoroughly with a dry cloth.
6. If necessary, clean the motor housing with a
dry cloth or brush.
7. Reassemble the front of the fan housing.
Make sure that the fork on the fanhousing rim
hooks into the rim on the fixed half of the fan
housing. Also make sure that the holes for the
crosshead screw are in line with each other.
8. Fit the crosshead screw, and tighten it with a crosshead screwdriver.
