This manual is and must be included in the delivery of the device and when it is sold. The owner and/or user of the device must be
familiar with the operating instructions before the device is started. The manufacturer is not liable for any personal injury and property
damage that is caused by incorrect or improper use of the product.
Car jacks are delivered in a cardboard / wooden box. Packaging material must be disposed of according to regulations of the corresponding
country.
Rules for accident prevention by law, as well as other generally approved rules for safety, occupational medicine and rules for accident
prevention for power-operated work equipment must be observed. Any kind of use beyond this range is considered non-compliance
with regulations. The manufacturer is not liable for any damages resulting thereof. The operating instructions are an integral part of
the delivery and must be handed over to the new owner when the product is resold. To ensure safe operation of the product, it is to be
operated, maintained or repaired only by properly trained personnel. Qualifed personnel are persons who have the training, experience
and briefng as well as knowledge of relevant standards, regulations, rules for accident prevention, and are thus qualifed to perform the
activitites required at the time, and to detect and avoid possible danger by doing so. The operator must ensure that the persons assigned
for operation, care, and maintenance have read and understood the operating instructions, and observe all the points therein, in order to:
•
avert danger to life and limb of the user and third parties,
•
ensure operational reliability of the car jack, and
•
eliminate downtime and harmful effects on the environment caused by incorrect handling.
Responsibilities for work must be clearly defned and observed to avoid unclear authorities in view of safety.
Maintenance on mechanical parts is to be done in intervals and to the extent as prescribed. After maintenance, all disassembled protective
devices must be reassembled in a professional manner. The protective equipment and their protective effect must be inspected by a
technical expert before operation of the device. Disassembling, stopping and/or the bridging of separate protective equipment (covers,
protective enclosures, etc.) and/or safety protective devices (watchdog switch, overload valve, etc.) may cause severe physical or material
damages, and is therefore strictly prohibited by the manufacturer!! The manufacturer warrants the car jacks on the basis of the sales and
delivery conditions. The warranty becomes invalid, when:
•
damages are caused by improper operation,
•
repair or procedures are carried out by persons not authorized to do so,
•
accessories and spare parts are used which do not match the car jacks.
Malfunctions must be reported immediately after detection. The product must be labeled accordingly. Defects must be repaired immediately

The products are manufactured according to state-of-the-art technology and are delivered safe for operation. Due to the method of
operation, there are locations and parts which cannot be covered or protected without signifcantly compromising functionality and
operability. Therefore, the operator must exercise a good, personal level of safety to protect himself and the device against damages. The
products may only be used and operated in the context of the conditions defned in the service level agreement and the delivery contract.
It is prohibited to reft, alter, or modify the devices without consultation with the manufacturer. If during operation (remaining) dangers
and risks not described in the manual become apparent, the operator is obliged to inform the manufacturer of them.
The manufacturer is not liable for any personal injuries and property damages, which are caused by improper use of the device. Each
operator is obliged to read these operating instructions before startup of the device.
•
The load to be lifted should never exceed the car jack's capacity.
•
It is prohibited to shunt when loaded.
•
Do not operate the car jack for loads exceeding the maximum lift specifed on the rating plate.
•
Park the vehicle or the load to be lifted on a stable, even, horizontal surface, and secure the wheels, to eliminate possible
movements.
•
Never use the car jack on a slope.
•
Always place the car jack in a position that makes it impossible to operate it from below the vehicle.
•
Operation of the car jack is only allowed when additional safey supports, e.g. support trestles, are used.
•
Please ensure before use of the car jack that there are no persons in the vehicle, the handbrake is pulled, and the engine is switched
off.
•
Always refer to the vehicle's manual to determine the correct lifting points.
•
When lifting points are not specifed, then position the car jack in the middle of the load. Incorrect positioning of the car jack may
cause the load to topple over. This may damage the load or the car jack, and injure the operator.
•
To eliminate movement of the vehicle during work with the car jack, all corresponding measures must be taken.
•
Never use the car jack contrary to its intended use.
•
For added safety, the car jacks are furnished with an overload valve, which is adjusted in the factory. It is not permitted to adjust the
valve at any time.
•
If these basic rules are not complied with, the operator may injure himself, or the load or the car jack may be damaged.
•
A car jack is only a lifting device and should never be used to transport or load a vehicle. It is prohibited to shunt when loaded.
