Installing the energiser indoors
The energiser must be installed indoors, (under cover) when being powered by mains/line power.
WARNING!
- Do not use a mains/line power extension lead.
- Allow 25 mm of clear space around the power adaptor.
To install the energiser indoors:
1. S elect a suitable installation site.
2. M ount the energiser on a wall 1.7 m above ground level. Use the template printed on the back
cover of this manual, if required.
3. Connect the Fence earth terminal (green) to the energiser earth system.
4. Connect the Fence output terminal (red) to the fence.
5. C onnect the energiser to mains/line power using the mains/line power adaptor provided.

Note: If the energiser is being installed indoors, it may be powered by a battery instead of mains/
line power, if required.
WARNING!
If using a battery to power an energiser that is installed indoors, ensure that there is adequate
ventilation to allow battery gases to disperse.
