General Purpose Refrigerators and Freezers
Probable Solution
Make sure the unit is connected to the power supply.
Ensure the voltage is not too low.
Check the circuit has not been tripped.
Odorous samples should be tightly closed.
Clean the inside of the appliance.
Long operation of the appliance is normal during the summer/in warmer
weather when the ambient temperature is high.
Too much samples have been added to the appliance at one time.
Ensure samples are cooled before adding to the appliance.
The door is opened too frequently.
Make sure the unit is connected to the power supply.
Replace the light bulb.
The unit is blocked by samples.
The unit is not properly levelled.
Check whether the floor is level, and whether the unit is placed stably.
Remove any foreign matter from the door seal.
Heat the door seal, and then cool it for restoration.
There is too much samples in the unit,
The doors are not closed properly, resulting in frosting due to the entry of
air and increased water due to defrosting.
Heat dissipation of the built-in compressor, via the housing, which is
normal.
The ambient temperature is too high.
There is too much sample stored in the unit, or the compressor has shut
down, providing for insufficient heat dissipation.
When the ambient temperature is high, condensation on the outside of
the appliance is normal. Wipe the condensate clean with a towel.
The compressor may produce a loud buzzing sound during operation,
particularly upon start up or stop. This is normal.
Refrigerant flowing inside of the unit may produce a creaking sound,
which is normal.
