Connecting the power adapter

To operate the device with the supplied power adapter, connect the power adapter to the EMS circulation
stimulator. Proceed as follows:
1. Connect the cable of the power adapter to the EMS circulation stimulator's connection socket.
2. Insert the power adapter into a suitable socket.
3. If you want to use the device just with the power adapter, do not insert any batteries in the device.
WARNING
• Trip hazard! Ensure that the power cord does not pose a trip hazard.
6. To Use
NOTES
• As well as your feet, you can also use the EMS circulation stimulator to stimulate your lower legs.
• Do not use the EMS circulation stimulator for longer than 90 minutes a day. If it is used for longer
periods, the overstimulation may cause tension instead of aiding relaxation.
• The EMS circulation stimulator switches off automatically once the set usage time has ended.
WARNING
• Only use the EMS circulation stimulator when you are sitting down. Never use the EMS
circulation stimulator when standing up.
6.1 Foot stimulation
To start foot stimulation, proceed as follows:
Step 1: Place the device on the floor
• Place the EMS circulation stimulator on an even, hard surface. Position a chair
in front of the EMS circulation stimulator so that you can reach the device
comfortably with your feet when sitting in the chair.
WARNING
• Trip hazard! Never use the EMS circulation stimulator when standing up.
Step 2: Place both feet on the device
• Place your bare feet on the foot areas of the EMS circulation stimulator. Make
sure that the arch of your foot sits on the central raised section. It does not
matter if your feet are bigger or smaller than the foot areas of the EMS cir-
culation stimulator.
IMPORTANT
Make sure that your knees form an angle of around 90 degrees
when you are sitting.
Step function
• The EMS circulation stimulator also features a step function. You can use the
step function to tilt your feet forwards and backwards during electrostimulation.
The additional movement of your ankle boosts circulation and this can reduce
swelling. To achieve the best possible results, we recommend that you perform
electrostimulation in combination with the step function.
• To use the step function, pull out the supports on the sides of the device.
You can now tilt the foot areas forwards and backwards.
• If you find the step function uncomfortable or want to stop the function, push
the side supports into the device again until you feel them click into place. You
can lock the foot areas into place either in a horizontal position or tilted forwards.

Step 3: Switch on the device
• To switch on the EMS circulation stimulator, press the
the device or on the remote control. Initially, the intensity level 00 is set on
the left and the right side.
Step 4: Set the usage time
• Use the button on the device or remote control to select the usage time you
want. You can set a usage time of between 5 and 90 minutes (in 5-minute
increments).
Step 5: Start electrostimulation / set the intensity level
• Use the +/- buttons on the device or remote control to select the intensity
level you want for the left foot and the right foot. You can set an intensity level
of between 1 and 99. Press the +/- button briefly to set the intensity level,
step by step. Press and hold the +/- button to set the desired intensity level
more quickly.
IMPORTANT
Start with a low intensity level at first so that you get used to
the device gradually.
• If it is hard to feel the electrostimulation, you can moisten the soles of your feet
slightly with water. This provides better conduction of the electricity. Do not use
cream or lotion; only use water or a water-based electrode gel.
NOTE:
• During electrostimulation, 15 diff erent pulse wave variations run in a loop
for one minute each. To set one of the pulse wave variations permanently,
press the M button on the remote control. If you want the pulse wave vari-
ations to be varied again, press the M button again.
Detection for loss of body contact
• If you take your feet off the foot areas of the EMS circulation stimulator for
less than 5 seconds, the device emits three short beeps. As soon as you
put your feet back on the foot areas, the intensity level that you previously
selected is set again.
• If you take your feet off the foot areas of the EMS circulation stimulator for
more than 5 seconds, the intensity level will reset to 0. To continue the sti-
mulation, increase the intensity level again on the EMS circulation stimulator
or on the remote control.
