INSTALLATION
Motor mounting
1. First lay the connecting cable in an empty con-
duit up to the junction box, observing the local
construction and electrical regulations.
2. Lower the roller shutter completely and release
the shaft connection.
3. Disassemble the roller shutter shaft.
NOTE! The roller cap (counter bracket side) is
usually secured by screws.
4. Fit the supplied motor bracket on the side on
which you want to fit the motor. The motor can
be fitted on the left or right.
5. Push the bearing ring adapter over the bearing
ring on the motor head as far as it will go. Make
sure that the groove is correctly positioned in
the adapter (Fig.1).
6. Push the motor into the roller shutter shaft
until it is completely inserted into the shaft with
the bearing ring (as shown in Fig. 2). Never
use a hammer for this purpose! Under certain
circumstances, it may not be easy to push in the
adapter and carrier, but you must not hit the
motor!
7. Now check whether the shaft with the integrat-
ed motor can be easily fitted in the brackets or
whether you may need to shorten the shaft. On
the counter bracket side (opposite the motor
side) is the roller cap or the telescopic shaft. This
can be pushed a few centimeters into the roller
shutter shaft or pulled out of the shaft.
8. Insert the motor (pushed into the shaft) into the
motor bracket and the shaft with the pin of the
roller cap into the counter bracket. Secure the
square pin of the motor head using the locking
pin that is included with the bracket (Fig. 3).
9. Then fasten the roller cap with 2 opposite
screws (Fig. 4). The roller cap or telescopic shaft
must be secured against displacement!
