Notice
This product contains components that can be damaged by electrostatic
discharge (ESD). Observe precautions for handling ESD sensitive devices and
never touch connector pins unless properly grounded.
Connecting a joystick cable
This product provides an interface connections for connecting a joystick to a HEIDENHAIN
stepper amplifier. Use HEIDENHAIN cable ID 540660-53. Refer to the documentation
provided with the amplifier for additional instructions.
To connect a joystick cable:
Verify that the amplifier power switch is in the off position

Connect the interface cable to its connector

Tighten the cable connector screws until they are snug

Observe ESD handling precautions
