• Prior to use on an adjustable bed, check that the electrical
components and cords cannot get jammed in the hinges for
example.
• Only use this electric overblanket in combination with the
detachable controller SS09.
• Under certain conditions, the electric and magnetic fields
transmitted by this electric overblanket could affect the
operation of your pacemaker. However, the radiation values are
far below the limit values: electric field strength: max. 5000 V/m,
magnetic field strength: max. 80 A/m, magnetic flux density:
max. 0.1 millitesla. Therefore, contact your physician or the
manufacturer of your pacemaker prior to using this electric
overblanket.
• Do not pull, twist or sharply fold the cords.
• Regularly check this electric overblanket for signs of wear
and tear. If there are signs of wear and tear, or if the electric
overblanket has not been used as intended, or the overblanket
no longer gets warm, have the electric overblanket checked by
the manufacturer prior to use.
• Do not open the appliance or repair it yourself under any
circumstances. If you do, a fault-free operation can no longer be
guaranteed. If you do not observe this instruction, the warranty
will become invalid.
• If the supply cord of this appliance is damaged, it must only
be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
• When this electric overblanket is switched on,
– no sharp object may be placed on it,
– no heat sources such as hot water bottles, heating pads, etc.,
should be placed on it.
• The electronic components in the switch become warm when
using the electric overblanket. When switched on, the switch may
not be covered or placed on the electric overblanket.
• The cable and control unit of the appliance can give rise to
risks of entanglement, strangulation, tripping or treading if not
correctly arranged. The user shall make sure that excess ties and
electric cords shall be arranged in a safe way.
• The appliance is not to be used by young children over the age
of three unless the controls have been pre-set by a parent or a
guardian, and unless the child has been adequately instructed on
how to operate the controls safely.
