Caution:
Please read and follow these safety rules carefully before use.
This appliance must be installed in accordance with the installation instructions.
Installation and repairs to this appliance must be carried out by a qualified person.
-Do not obstruct the ventilation openings of the cylinder housing.
-Do not move the appliance while it is in operation.
-Close the gas cylinder valve or regulator before moving the appliance.
-Do not connect the gas cylinder directly to the appliance without a regulator.
-Use only the type of gas and cylinder specified in these instructions.
-This appliance must be installed and the gas cylinders stored in accordance with the applicable regulations.
-This heater is not intended for installation on recreational vehicles such as caravans, motor homes and/or
boats.
-Improper installation or modification can cause serious injury and/or significant property damage: do not
attempt to modify this product in any way.
-Never change the regulator to one other than that specified by the factory.
-Plumbing tape must be used on all connections to prevent leaks.
-Turn off the gas supply immediately if you smell gas.
Once the appliance is switched off, ensure that no flames remain.
-If the smell persists, contact your gas supplier immediately.
-Do not move the appliance immediately after switching it off. Wait until it has cooled down.
-Keep the ventilation opening of the gas cylinder housing clean.
-Do not paint the radiant screen, control panel or reflector.
-The control panel, burner and air passageway must always be kept clean. Frequent cleaning is necessary.
-The gas cylinder must be switched off when the appliance is not in use.
For safety reasons, always wait 5 minutes after the appliance is completely switched off before switching it on
again.
Check the unit immediately if any of the following situations occur:
o The heater does not reach the required temperature.
o The burner clicks during use (a small noise is normal when the burner has just been switched off).
-Avoid inhaling the fumes emitted by the heater when first used (The oils used in the manufacturing process
may cause odours and smoke when first used. These odours and/or smoke will dissipate after approximately 30
minutes of use).
The hose should be placed in a space-saving manner to avoid the risk of dropping and accidental damage to the
unit.
-Any safety device removed during maintenance of the appliance must be replaced before use.
-Adults and children should keep away from hot surfaces to avoid the risk of burns and clothing ignition.
-Children should be supervised at all times when in the area where the appliance is located.
-Clothing and other flammable materials should not be hung on or placed near the appliance.
In case of abnormal operation, please refer to the troubleshooting guide on page 40.
If service is required, call a certified technician or other qualified person.
