Location:
-For use outdoors or in well ventilated areas.
-This unit is not equipped with a CO2 detector. Do not use indoors or in a closed area.
-The sunshade should be placed on a firm, flat surface.
-A space with ample ventilation should have at least 25% of its surface open. (The
surface area is the sum of the wall area)
-Do not use in a basement or below ground level
-Any enclosure in which the appliance is to be used shall conform to one of the
following situations:-An enclosure without a roof, with walls, which has a permanent
opening at ground level.
-A partially enclosed enclosure that includes a roof and a maximum of two walls.
-A partially enclosed enclosure with a roof and more than two walls must comply with
the following rules:
-At least 25% of the total wall area must be completely open.
-At least 30% of the total wall area must be open and clear.
-In the case of a balcony: at least 20% of the wall area must remain open and clear.
-Combustible materials must be kept at least 100 cm away from the appliance
(This distance must also be maintained above the appliance).
-Do not use this appliance in an environment where explosive materials such as
gasoline or other liquids that can give off flammable vapours may be present.
-To protect the unit from strong winds, secure the base with screws.
Use of gas :

Use propane or butane only.
-The parasol heater is designed to be used with an 11-13 kg cylinder.
-The maximum size of the cylinder suitable for this appliance, with the regulator attached, is Ø31cm x 64cm. The
inside dimension of the foot that is in the support bar is Ø32cm x 69cm.
- The hose must comply with EN164361: 2014. Do not pull or twist the hose.
The connection to the appliance must be made with a supply hose of length 1.2m or 1.5m (maximum).
-Make sure that the hose is not subjected to any twisting or pulling forces
-The maximum inlet pressure of the pressure regulator must not exceed 100 PSI (690 kPa).
-The outlet pressure of the pressure regulator must be 28 mbar.
-The assembly of the hose and the pressure regulator must comply with the applicable standards. Ensure that
the regulator seal is correctly installed and capable of performing its function.
-The installation must comply with the applicable standards or, in the absence of standards, with the law on the
storage and use of propane and other liquid fuels.
-A dented, rusted or damaged gas cylinder can be dangerous and should be checked by your gas supplier before
use. Never use a gas cylinder with a damaged connection valve.
-The gas cylinder must be installed upright.
-Avoid twisting the hoses and pipes.
-Never connect a gas bottle that is not certified or not suitable for the appliance.
-Disconnect the gas bottle when the appliance is not in use.
