The wheels should always rotate in a straight line; if they sway side to
side or bob up and down during rotation, they need to be repaired or
replaced. If the wheel becomes unstable or the spokes are loose, this
may affect normal use. It is recommended to have a bicycle repairman
make all wheel adjustments and truing for your bicycle. Unless you have
sufficient knowledge, tools, and experience, do not attempt to true the
wheel or tighten the spokes. Ensure that the tires and inner tubes are in
good condition, with no visible damage, and that the air pressure is
stable. Be sure to replace punctured or cut tires and inner tubes. Riding
with damaged tires or tires without proper air pressure will decrease
performance, increase wear on the tires and components, and make
riding the bicycle unsafe.
Ensure all hardware is secured, and all approved accessories are correct-
ly connected as per the specific component manufacturer's instructions.
It's best to first check all hardware and accessories; if you find any prob-
lems or are unsure, seek help from an experienced bicycle repairer.
