Once you have disconnected the previous de-
vice, you can proceed to pair the new device
by following the same steps as before.

Alarm settings
This radio has 2 separate alarm times that
can be adjusted individually. Pressing the
alarm button initiates a multi-step setup
process. If you make a mistake in any of the
steps, you can go back to the previous step by
pressing the back button.
STEP 1: Press the alarm button to enter the
alarm settings. By rotating the volume knob
choose one of the two available alarms you
wish to set-up and confirm by pressing the
volume knob.
STEP 2: Choose [alarm on] to activate the
selected alarm and continue with alarm set-
up. Option [alarm off] will turn off the current
alarm.
STEP 3: Set the alarm time. The values can be
changed by rotating the volume knob. Press
the volume knob to save the value. After sav-
ing a value, the next block of numbers will be
automatically selected. Repeat the previous
steps to set all values.
STEP 4: Use the volume knob to select the
alarm source. Options are: [DAB], [FM],
[buzzer].
STEP 5: The station with which to wake up
is specified here. The last listened station or
stations saved in the favourites are available
here. This does not apply to the buzzer mode.
STEP 6: Select here on which days the alarm
should be activated. The following selections
are available: [once] / [daily] / [weekends]
/ [weekdays]. Selecting [once] will prompt
you to specify a date when the alarm should
go off.
Once you have made all the settings [alarm
stored] appears briefly on the display as
confirmation. On the display to the left of the
clock, you will see a bell symbol with the num-
ber 1 or 2, which represents the currently set
alarm.
When the alarm goes off, you can press the
volume knob to activate the snooze function.
To turn off the alarm, press the power button.
Note: The alarm mode is only active when the
radio is in standby or operation mode. The
alarm will not activate if the radio is complete-
ly powered off.

Additional alarm settings
There are additional settings for the alarm.
These can be accessed by pressing the menu
button, selecting [system settings] and then
[alarm settings].
STEP 1: Use the volume knob to set an alarm
duration. Options are: 1, 5, 10, 15, 30 minutes.

STEP 2: Use the volume knob to set a snooze
duration. Options are: 5, 10, 15, 20, 30 min-
utes. When the alarm sounds, pressing of vol-
ume knob will activate snooze function which
temporarily silence the alarm.
STEP 3: Set the desired alarm volume here.
Note: These settings are shared by both
alarms.

Sleep timer
With this function you can switch the radio to
standby mode automatically after a defined
period of time. To do this, press the menu
button and select [system settings] and
then [sleep]. Then select one of the available
options and confirm the selection by pressing
the volume knob. You can choose between
15, 30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes. [sleep off] de-
letes the previously set period of time.
A small clock icon lights up in the top left cor-
ner of the display, indicating that the sleep
timer is activated.

Date & time settings
Settings for time and date can be made in the
[time/date] menu available via [system set-
tings]. The following options are available:
11.1
Manual adjustment
In the [manual adjustment] menu you can
set the time and date manually. The values
can be changed by rotating the volume knob.
Press the volume knob to save the value. Af-
ter saving a value, next block of numbers will
be automatically selected. Repeat previous
steps to set all values for date and time.
Note: The date and time are automatically re-
trieved and updated from the DAB/FM radio
signal. If you want to set the date and time
manually, you must turn off the automatic up-
date. See chapter 11.4.
11.2 12/24h format
In the [12/24h format] menu you can spec-
ify whether the clock should be displayed in
12- or 24-hour format. Select desired option
by rotating the volume knob, then confirm
by pressing the volume knob. The currently
selected option is marked with [*].
11.3 Date format
In the [date format] menu you can specify
how date will be displayed on the radio. Day-
Month-Year or Month-Day-Year. The currently
selected option is marked with [*].
Note: While listening to FM or DAB radio, you
can display date by repeated pressing of info
button. Date is displayed also when radio is in
standby mode.
11.4 Auto update
In the [auto update] menu you can spec-
ify the source from which the time and date
should be updated. The following options are
available:
[from FM + DAB]: Time and date are updat-
ed via DAB or FM, whichever is available.
[from DAB]: The time and date are updated
via DAB only.
[from FM]: The time and date are updated
via FM only.
[off]: Time and date must be set manually.
The currently selected option is marked with
[*].

Display settings
In the display settings you can change the
default display brightness and set the time to
dim the display.
Press the menu button, select [system set-
tings] and then [display settings]. The fol-
lowing options are available:
[dimming]: This option allows you to set the
duration of time after which the display auto-
matically adjusts to a lower lighting level.
Choices: [off / 10 / 20 / 30 / 45 / 60 / 90
/ 120 / 180 seconds]
[off] means that the radio always keeps the
default brightness level.
After selecting the desired time for dimming
activation, you will now need to configure how
the display will be dimmed.
[low] – When the set time elapses, the dis-
play will automatically adjust to a low bright-
ness level.
[display off] – When the set time elapses,
the display will completely turn off.
Note: Press any button on the radio to switch
the display back on.
[brightness]: Default brightness of the dis-
play. Choices: [high] / [medium] / [low]

Equalizer
With the equalizer you can adjust the sound of
the radio. You can choose from preconfigured
settings. Please proceed as follows:
Press the menu button, select [system set-
tings] and then [EQ]. You can select a sound
profile by rotating the volume knob and then
confirm by pressing the volume knob. The
following profiles are available: [Neutral] /
[Classic] / [Pop] / [Rock] / [Speech]
