Charging the rechargeable battery
Note the following points when charging the battery:

Charge the battery in ambient temperatures of 10°C to 45°C. The charger
stops charging and indicates an error to prevent damage to the battery when
temperatures are outside this range. The charger continues charging the
battery as soon as the In-Mask Display temperature reaches the permissible
range again.

Change the battery when it no longer takes a charge.
NOTICE
If the charging cradle comes into contact with water, there is a risk of a short
circuit.
► Make sure that the In-Mask Display and the charging cradle are dry.
● Place the In-Mask Display in the charging cradle.

6.2
Changing the rechargeable battery
Note the following points when changing the battery pack:

Do not change the battery pack in explosion-hazard areas.

Only use battery packs which are part of this product (see supplement
9300785).
1. Unfasten the screw (TX8) on the underside of the In-Mask Display.
2. Remove the battery pack.
3. Fasten the new battery pack to the In-Mask Display (torque: 0.35 Nm).
4. Check that the In-Mask Display is functioning properly (see "Storage",
page 29).
