Danger
Zone 1/ 2 and safe area: In Zone 1/2 and in the safe
area, wires for the supply voltage of the Power Supply PS
DC24V at the terminal module TM-PS-A UC/TM-PS-B UC
can only be disconnected when the supply voltage has
been switched off.
Assembly
• Check the power supply for any damage! Only connect a
power supply to the TM-PS terminal module if you are
certain that the power supply is undamaged.
• In Zone 1 and Zone 2, the power supply submodules may
be inserted and removed during operation. The enclosure
(Ex e / IP 54) in which the ET 200iSP is found may only be
opened briefly for this purpose (see the "SIMATIC
Distributed I/O ET 200iSP" manual).
Commissioning
• The relevant national regulations must be observed when
commissioning the system.
• When checking the functionality of the equipment, observe
the EN 60 079-17 guidelines. This standard includes the
regulations found in the international standard
IEC 60 079-17.
