Warning Injuries and material damage due to improper
handling.
f Switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the power
supply before starting any cleaning or maintenance work.
Cleaning and care
Danger! Electric shock due to liquid entering the
appliance.
f Do not immerse the appliance in water!
f Do not allow any liquids to enter the inside of the appliance.
Caution! Damage caused by aggressive chemicals.
Aggressive chemicals can damage the appliance and accessories.
f Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.
f Only use the cutting set oil recommended by the
manufacturer.

In the event of insufficient care regarding the cutting set, the
running time can be considerably reduced.
·
Accessories and spare parts can be obtained from your
dealer or our service centres.
·
After each use, remove the hair residues from the cutting set with a
cleaning brush (Fig. 5 - 1).
·
Only wipe the appliance with a soft (and possibly slightly damp) cloth
·
Put on the blade guard (I) after use.
·
Only store the appliance with the blade guard (I) in place.
·
For a good and long-lasting cutting performance, it is
important to oil the cutting set daily and after each use.
·
If the cutting performance decreases after a long period
of use despite regular cleaning and oiling, the cutting set
should be replaced.
Operation
Adjusting the cutting length on the cutting set
The integrated cutting length adjustment can be set in 6 positions
(0.7 mm / 1.2 mm / 1.6 mm / 2.1 mm / 2.5 mm / 3.0 mm).
1. Use the on/off switch to switch the appliance off (Fig. 2 - 2).
2. In order to set the desired cutting length, the adjustment lever should
be locked by pushing the lock (C) downwards (Fig. 6 -1).
3. By operating the side adjustment lever (Fig. 6 - 2), the cutting length
can be adjusted in several click positions (Multi-Click).
4. By pushing the lock upwards (fig. 6 - 3) the adjustment lever is unlocked
and the normal cutting length of approx. 0.7 mm is set again.

Put on / take off comb attachment
1. Use the on/off switch to switch off the appliance (Fig. 2b).
2. Push the comb attachment onto the cutting set in the direction of the
arrow as far as it will go (Fig. 3 - 1).
3. Remove the comb attachment again by pushing/pulling in the direction
of the arrow (Fig. 3 - 2).
Cutting with comb attachment
In order to achieve the cutting length indicated on the comb attachment,
the adjustment lever should not be locked, to do this, push the lock (C)
upwards (Fig. 6 - 1).
1. Switch the appliance on with the on/off switch (Fig. 2 - 1).
2. Slowly and carefully guide the device parallel to the skin against the
direction of hair growth.
3. Shake, brush or blow the hair off the appliance and comb attachment
in between.
f If the comb attachment becomes clogged with hair, you should remove
it (fig. 3 - 2) and clean it (fig. 5 - 1).
4. Clean the comb attachment after use (Fig. 5 - 1).
Replacing the cutting set
Caution! Injuries to hands or fingers from sharp-edged
parts of the cutting set.
1. Use the on/off switch to switch off the appliance (Fig. 2 - 2).
2. Pull out the mains plug.
3. Loosen both screws on the cutting set, remove the shearing comb and
shearing blade (cutting set A) (Fig. 8).
Attention! The adjustment lever (B) must not be locked. By pushing the
catch (C) upwards (fig. 6 - 3), it becomes unlocked.
4. Place the clipper blade on the two pins (Fig. 8).
5. Before mounting, the shearing blade should still be oiled on the run-
ning surfaces (Fig. 5 -2).
6. Place the shearing comb on the red logo pin and insert both screws
(Fig. 5).
7. When assembling, align the shearing comb and shearing blade as
follows (Fig. 7):
f The shearing comb must be aligned parallel to the shearing
blade with a distance of approx. 1 mm before tightening the
screws.
f The shearing blade must not protrude beyond the shearing
comb. Risk of injury!
8. This distance must also be observed when the shearing comb is
removed for thorough cleaning and screwed back on again, as other-
wise, injuries may occur.
9. Tighten both screws (Fig. 8)
