3.1 - Cleaning the Equipment
At the end of a spray run, remove the
nozzles (tips, filters, sealing rings and
covers), clean them using a nylon bristle
brush and clean water.
Replenish the tank with clean water and
activate spraying in order to clean out
all the spray system piping. Remove the
filter element from the main filter.
Wash the outside of the machine with
clean water and store in a dry, covered
and well-aired place, far from any
chemical substances that might oxidize
the machine (fertilizers, pesticides,
among others).
3.2 - Storing the Sprayer
This equipment was designed and
manufactured for the purpose of
applying pesticides, and not for storage
of the product mix when not in use.
Every day allow the machine to rest
after cleaning it inside and outside.
Run clean water inside the main tank,
clean nozzles and filters (main and line)
and replace them. Drain the main tank.
When the equipment worked with
corrosive chemicals (ex: applying
urea), wash and then apply a layer of
vegetable oil using a brush or spray
pistol.
