Troubleshooting
If a faucet installation doesn't deliver water properly or leaks, finding the cause and fixing it can be easy.
Problem
Water does not completely shut off. Ceramic cartridge discs are worn or
Faucet leaks around aerator.
Faucet has an improper water
pattern.
No water pressure or low water
pressure after a longer period of
use.
The mounting nut will not tighten
on the faucet shank.
Possible cause
have debris trapped inside.
The aerator is incorrectly fitted, dirty,
or small parts inside the aerator are
improperly installed.
The aerator is dirty or small parts inside
the aerator are improperly installed.
The hose is blocked.
Debris is trapped inside the supply line
connectors.
The quick-install mounting nut was not
pushed upward over the faucet shank
before rotating.
□ Shut off the water supply.
□ Move the handle to the OFF position. Unscrew the
handle screw and remove the handle.
□ Remove the bonnet. Lift out the ceramic cartridge.
□ Position the new ceramic cartridge into the faucet
body.
□ Tightly screw the bonnet into the faucet body.
□ Reinstall the handle.
□ Remove the aerator from the spout on the faucet
body. Inspect the black rubber gasket inside the aera-
tor. The rubber gasket should be flat.
□ Reinstall the aerator on the spout.
□ Remove the aerator from the spout on the faucet
body.
□ Gently flush the small parts inside the aerator to clear
away any debris.
□ Reinstall the aerator on the spout.
□ Remove the spray head by unscrewing it from the
hose assembly in a counterclockwise direction.
□ Hold the end of the hose assembly down into the sink
and turn the faucet on to the warm position where
it mixes the hot and cold water. If the water flow is
still slow or completely blocked, please call customer
service.
□ Shut off the water supply valves.
□ Disconnect the water supply lines and clean away
any debris.
□ Reattach the water supply lines to the water shut-off
valves and tighten with a wrench. Do not overtighten.
□ Turn on the water supply valves.
□ Push the quick-install mounting nut upwards over
the faucet shank until it is pressed firmly against the
underside of the sink and turn to tighten.
