7.6 Low battery
If the device detects that the battery voltage is low, then you hear an alarm sound
every 43 seconds. Replace the device in this case.
8. When the alarm goes off
When the alarm goes off and you did not press the test button, this is a warning
of a dangerous situation involving a fire or smoke development.
To be prepared for such an event, you should work out escape plans. Discuss these
escape plans regularly with all residents and household members.
Define two exits from each room and an escape route that leads to the outside.
Designate a safe meeting place for all members outside the respective building.
8.1 Conduct in the event of fire

Do not panic, always remain calm.
•
Leave the building immediately. Touch the doors before opening them to
see if they are hot. If the door is hot, it can be assumed that there is a fire
behind it. If possible, try to select a different exit in this case.

If necessary, crawl along the floor, as the fumes are not as concentrated
there. Do not waste time looking for valuables and choose a direct way out.
•
Call the fire brigade as soon as you are safe.
•
Never go back into the burning building.
