Note: to prepare more than one cappuccino, first make all the coffees and then in the end prepare foam
milk for all the cappuccinos.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always unplug from appliance before cleaning.

Clean appliance with soft cloth, never use abrasion cleaner.

Rinse detachable components such as permanent filter, filter holder, jar, measuring spoon in warm
•
water, and reassemble them in place after cleaning.
Before appliance will be stored for long time, always clean and dry coffee maker completely. When it
•
will be reused, clean it first.
Never immerse the appliance in water.

The jar can be cleaned with warm water, some washing-up liquid and a soft brush. Do not clean the jar
•
in a dishwasher.
CAUTION
Use only cold water!

Ensure the jar is placed properly in its position when brewing coffee.

Between brewing processes switch off the appliance and let it cool down for about 5 minutes. Then
•
refill with cold water.
After the brewing process, always switch off the appliance

Disposal of old electrical appliances.
The European directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that
old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal waste
stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of
the materials they contain, and reduce the impact on human health and the environment.
The crossed out "wheeled bin" symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation, that when you
dispose of the appliance, it must be separately collected.
Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information concerning the correct
disposal of their old appliance.
