4 Use
4.1 Switching on
Once the clipper battery has been charged, switch the clippers on by pressing the
button (Figure 1, E). The red luminous indicator integrated in the button comes on
and the "On" indicator icon (Figure 1, L) is animated.
4.2 Use with or without power lead
With a new, fully charged battery, the clippers can be used without the power
lead for about 120 minutes, as is shown by the value displayed (Figure 1, J). About
five minutes before the end of the autonomy period, the charge symbol (Figure 1,
M) flashes to show that it is necessary to charge the clippers or use the direct
mains power supply mode. The clippers can then be used with the power lead
connected directly to the clipper socket (Figure 2).
4.3 Adjusting the cutting height

Possible cutting heights: 1.0 mm, 1.3 mm, 1.6
mm and 1.9 mm.
To reduce the cutting height (cut the hair
shorter): push the sliding knob (B) upwards.
Set the cutting height as shown by the
indicator (C).
To increase the cutting height (cut the hair
longer): press the release button (A) and push
the sliding knob (B) downwards. Set the
cutting height as shown by the indicator (C).
Constant care must be taken when using the
clippers near the ears. Protect the ear with
your hand to avoid all risk of injury due to the
cutter.
