Assembly
Hold the twist lock when pulling off the tube/cutting
u
head.
Put on the blade cover during all assembly work.
u
Perform a full cutting cycle before starting work to check
u
that the linkage is fully connected.
Mounting/Dismounting the cutting head (see
figures B − C)
As shown in figure B, slide the cutting head (3) into the ma-
chine, lining up the arrows.
Push the cutting head (3) firmly into the machine.
Screw the twist lock (4) firmly to the right to lock the cutting
head (3).
To remove the cutting head (3) unscrew the twist lock (4)
gripping the red twist lock (4) to pull off the cutting
head (3) .
Reverse the assembly procedure for disassembly.
Note: When removing the cutting head, hold and pull with
the twist lock (4).
Mounting/Dismounting the extension pole (see
figures D − E)
Always use only one extension pole with the tool.

Remove the cutting head.
Slide the extension pole (8) into the machine.
Push the extension pole (8) firmly into the machine.
Screw the twist lock (4) to the right to lock the extension
pole (8).
Slide the cutting head (3) onto the extension pole (8).
Push the cutting head (3) firmly into the extension pole (8).
Screw the twist lock (4) to the right to lock the cutting
head (3) to the extension pole (8).
Reverse the assembly procedure for disassembly.
Note: When removing the extension pole, hold and pull with
the twist lock (4).
Carrying the machine (see fig. F)
Do not carry the machine with the extension pole
inserted (8). Hold the machine by the secondary grip  (5).
Starting Operation
Remove the battery from the power tool before carry-
u
ing out work on the power tool (e.g. maintenance,
changing tool, etc.). The battery should also be re-
moved for transport and storage or the event of a
fault. There is risk of injury from unintentionally pressing
the on/off switch.
Inserting/removing the battery (see figure G)
Note: Using unsuitable batteries can lead to malfunctions of
or cause damage to the power tool.

Insert the charged battery (11). Make sure that the battery
is fully fitted.
To remove the battery (11) from the machine, press the bat-
tery unlocking button (10) and pull the battery out.
Battery status indicator (see figure H)
The battery status indicator (7) indicates the remaining bat-
tery capacity or an overload when the power tool is switched
on.

Operation
Operation the 360° trigger (see fig. I)
Activate the 360° trigger (6) by rotating it clockwise and
then gently pull the 360° trigger (6) backwards to operate
the blades and make the cut.
When you release the 360° trigger (6) forward, the
blades (1) are opened and ready for the next cut.
Working Advice
Remove the battery from the power tool before carry-

ing out work on the power tool (e.g. maintenance,
changing tool, etc.). The battery should also be re-
moved for transport and storage or the event of a
fault. There is risk of injury from unintentionally pressing
the on/off switch.
Cutting tips (see fig. J − L)
Never operate the tool in an awkward posture. This may
cause serious injury without gloves or whilst the battery is in-
serted..
Always keep both hands on the machine when using it.
Never touch the blades without gloves or whilst the bat-
tery is inserted.
The tool is intended to be used by the operator at ground
level and not on ladders or any other unstable support.
You can use the 360° trigger (6) to hold the machine in dif-
ferent working positions.
The 360° trigger (6) allows you to fully rotate the tool to ad-
apt the cutting head to the respective task.
Use the hook (2) to pull already cut entangled branches to-
wards you.
If the blade gets stuck in a branch, slightly pivot the tool back
and forth in the cutting direction.
Always wear recommended personal protective equipment
while pruning.
