See the instructions under "Materials that you can use in the microwave or which you should avoid
in the microwave". Certain non-metallic utensils are not suitable for use in the microwave. In case
of doubt, you can test the relevant utensil as follows.
UTENSIL TEST
1. Fill a microwave-safe container with 1 cup of cold water (250 ml) and the relevant utensil.
2. Heat at maximum power for 1 minute.
3. Carefully touch the utensil. If the empty utensil is warm, do not use it for cooking in the
microwave.
4. Do not exceed a cooking time of 1 minute.
