Removing the transit bolts
Four transit bolts are screwed into the rear of the washing machine in order to guarantee
it is transported in complete safety.
IMPORTANT: the transit bolts serve to prevent any internal damage during transport;
these must be removed before operating the washing machine! If not, the appliance will
be damaged, and this is not covered by the warranty.
1.
Unscrew the transit bolts by turning them anti-clockwise using an appropriate
spanner.
2.
Remove the 4 bolts and washers from their housing by pulling them out with pliers.
3.
Put them in a safe place so they can be reused if needed.
4.
Plug the holes with the plastic caps provided.
CAUTION: to transport the appliance, always make sure that the transit bolts are
correctly in place!
NOTE: if you wish to transport the washing machine, reinsert the transit bolts (in reverse
order).
Installation location
Place the appliance on a flat, rigid floor. Never install your appliance on a carpet or
rug: air must be able to circulate freely around the appliance.
When the washing machine and tumble drier are stacked, place them on a flat, solid
floor with a sufficient load-bearing capacity.
The appliance must be placed on a resistant floor (that can bear the weight of the
appliance), the surface of which is clean and dry (to prevent the appliance sliding).
Be sure not to place the appliance on its power cord.
Ensure that the washing machine is not touching the wall or surrounding furniture.
Do not install your appliance in a room where the temperature is 0°C or below. For
optimum operation, install your appliance in a living room.

To reduce vibrations and noise, it is recommended a space be left around the washing
machine.
Do not place nearby any heat source (hobs, irons, ovens, etc.). on the washing
machine.
Installing under a worktop
The washing machine can be installed under a worktop
provided you leave a minimum clearance of:
3 cm above the washing machine
8 cm on each side of the washing machine
8 cm behind the washing machine.
Adjusting the feet
The appliance must be level and balanced on its feet so that it operates silently and
without vibration. To do this, adjust the feet using a spirit level.
CAUTION: do not use a tool to loosen the locking nuts: you could damage them.
