Washing powder is particularly suited to ensuring perfect whites, even at low
temperatures.
However, washing powder is more aggressive than liquid detergent and may cause
a risk of abrasions, and laundry to dry and harden. Use a softener in addition to the
washing powder.
Washing powder may also increase allergic reactions in particularly sensitive people.
CAUTION: washing powder can lead to deposits forming in the detergent drawer and
drum, and clog the pipes. Please clean your appliance regularly (See the section on
Maintenance and Cleaning).
Washing liquid
When using washing liquid, insert the washing liquid container
(4) (see figure opposite).
Washing liquid is better at preserving the quality of fabric fibres and removing stains.
The laundry is softer and thus requires less softener than washing powder.
It does not leave residues inside the detergent compartment and drum, thus limiting
problems with the pipes clogging.
It is particularly suited to coloured fabrics. The colours are better protected and
preserved.
Softeners
Softener is a very dense concentrate that is deposited onto the fibres to make them
soft. To be used without excess. It makes laundry easier to iron.
The fragrances depend on the essences added and do not influence the washing
quality of the product in any way.
Never exceed the "MAX" level mark shown in the softener compartment.
Use the amounts recommended on the packaging. An excess amount of softener can
cause indelible traces on laundry.
If the softener has lost its fluidity, dilute this with water before adding it to the detergent
drawer.

Tips for saving energy
The information below will help you to use the product in an ecological and eco-
energetic way.
Water and energy consumption may vary depending on the fluctuations in water
pressure, hardness and wash temperature, ambient temperature, the type and
quantity of laundry, the optional functions used, the spin speed, and possible
variations in voltage.
The most energy and water efficient programs are usually those that operate at a low
temperature for longer.
Loading the washing machine to the maximum manufacturer recommended capacity
for each program helps to save energy and water.
Always follow the recommendations shown on your washing detergent packaging.
Wash slightly soiled laundry at low temperature.
Use shorter duration programs for small quantities or for lightly soiled laundry.
Do not use prewash and high temperatures for laundry that is only lightly soiled.
If you intend to dry your laundry in a tumble drier, select the highest spin speed
recommended for the washing cycle used.
Only use the amount of detergent recommended on the detergent packaging.
