Warning!
Remove any labels and protections from the soleplate before using the appliance for the first time.
filling the tank before use
Warning!
Make sure the appliance is unplugged from the supply mains before filling the tank with water.
The product functions with normal tap water. If the tap water is particularly hard (higher than 20°F), use a mixture of 50%
tap water and 50% demineralized water.
never use pure demineralized water.
Warning!
To avoid damaging the pump, never operate the appliance without any water in the tank, even for dry ironing. Do
not add any additives or chemicals (such as for example, amides, starches, perfume or other); Otherwise, the war-
ranty may be revoked. The possible presence of water, condensate or moisture in the tank indicates only that the
appliance has been tested.
To remove the tank just take it by the handle (A) and pull it towards the outside of the appliance (Fig. 3). Put water directly
from the tap through the appropriate grid (Fig. 4).
neVer fill the tank beyond the maX level.
To insert the tank into the body of the appliance grab the handle (A) Fig. 3, and push it completely into its housing until it
clicks, confirming the correct insertion (Fig. 6).
Warning!
If the tank is not fitted securely, the no water light will stay on. Do not iron in these conditions.
switching on the appliance
Before you turn on the appliance, make sure there is sufficient water inside the tank.
Place the appliance on a horizontal and stable surface. Completely unwind the power cord from the winding base.
Press the on switch (T). The indicator light (Q) starts flashing. Set the amount of steam by turning the steam adjustment
knob (S) to the desired value. When the indicator light (Q) comes on with steady light the iron has reached the selected tem-
perature, and it is possible to supply steam (Fig. 10). On first use, after filling the tank, it is necessary to adjust the thermostat
