cleaning the soleplate
Warning!
Do not use abrasives for cleaning the soleplate. Try and keep the soleplate smooth: avoid contact with metal objects.
Any deposits and other residue material on the soleplate can be removed using a cloth soaked in a water and vinegar solu-
tion. Always dry the soleplate with a dry cloth.
cleaning the tank
Warning!
Do not put vinegar, decalcifying products or other additives in the tank; Otherwise, the warranty may be revoked.
Clean the water tank from time to time by putting fresh water in it. Rinse and empty (Fig. 12).
cleaning the iron
Clean plastic parts with a damp, non-abrasive cloth and dry them with a dry cloth.
emptying the boiler and cleaning it internally
Warning!
Wait until the appliance is cold and the internal pressure is depleted, before unscrewing the cap (N).
If pressing the button (H) there is no steam output, proceed as indicated in the following paragraph.

remove the tank (B) and empty it completely before you empty the boiler (Fig. 12).
Open the cover (M) so as to uncover the safety cap (Fig. 13). With the blade screwdriver, unscrew the safety cap of the
boiler (N). While holding the appliance over a sink, empty the boiler completely (Fig. 15).
Fill the boiler with tap water (Fig. 16). Tighten the cap and shake the appliance. Empty the boiler completely for a second
time. Repeat this operation until the water coming out of the boiler is clean and clear.
Warning!
Do not put vinegar, decalcifying agents or other fragrant substances inside the boiler; Otherwise, the warranty may
be revoked.
After cleaning the boiler, pour approx. 400 cc of water into the boiler (Fig. 16) and refit the cap (N) tightening it slightly,
without forcing it excessively. Refit the cover (M).
Clean the boiler at least every two months so as to eliminate any residue of lime that could jeopardize proper
operation of the appliance.

note: it is quite normal that after a certain period of use at high temperatures, the white plastic parts of the iron
undergo small variations of colour and/or yellowing.
