ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read these safety instructions before use and
keep them carefully.
! - This symbol indicates the risk of injury or damage
to the device.
! If the instructions given in this manual are not fol-
lowed, there is a risk of injury.
! Battery Scissors 7.2V Li-Ion comply with applicable
technical regulations and standards.
! Do not use the tool, accessory or charger for purpo-
ses other than those for which they are designed.
! Familiarize yourself with your surroundings and pay
attention to possible dangers that you may overlook
during work under certain circumstances.
- ! Carefully inspect the surface you will be cutting and
remove any wires or other foreign objects.
- ! Use suitable work clothes and personal protective
equipment! As a rule, use protective glasses or other
eye protection, sturdy shoes with non-slip soles, long
pants and work gloves.
- ! Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry while wor-
king as they may get caught in moving parts. Never
use scissors when you are barefoot or wearing open
shoes.
- ! Pay attention to safety and a safe attitude during
work. Pay particular attention to a firm posture while
working on slopes. Avoid unnatural posture. You must
always guide the scissors with both hands.
- ! Before turning off the scissors, make sure that they
are not touching other objects. Switch off the shears
before moving to another work area.
- ! Do not work with the tool if you are tired or after
consuming alcoholic beverages and medications.
Always rest on time. Work at a reasonable pace.
- ! Do not work in wet, bad weather or wet conditions.
Work only in good light.
- ! Use scissors only after following all safety instruc-
tions.
- ! Before use, check the cutting parts for looseness
and the fixed parts of the bar for damage, blockage
or severe wear. Only work with undamaged cutting
equipment.
- ! Never grasp the scissors by the cutting bar or hold
them by the protective devices.
- ! Always disconnect the clippers from the battery
when not in use, carrying or leaving unattended,
when inspecting, cleaning or removing stuck twigs,
when starting cleaning or maintenance, or changing
accessories.
- ! Do not use the scissors near flammable substan-
ces or gases. If these instructions are not followed,
there is a risk of fire or explosion.
- ! Always use the bar cover when transporting or
during storage.
- ! Keep tools sharp, clean and functional so they
work better and safer. Read the maintenance instruc-
tions.
Safety instructions for the battery and charger.
Before using the battery and charger for the first time,
read the user manual carefully.
! 1. Verify that the electric current that is in the el.
mains, is identical to the values shown on the battery
charger.
! 2. Do not allow moisture, rain or splashing water to
reach the battery charging area.
! 3. Do not charge the battery when the temperature
is below 10°C or above 40°C. Charging the battery at
extreme temperatures can reduce its life.
! 4. A damaged accumulator that can no longer be
charged must be treated as hazardous waste. Do not
dispose of the battery in normal household waste, fire
or water.
! 5. Use only the battery and charger approved by the
manufacturer for the use of the specified devices.
! 6. Keep the charger clean, free of dust and dirt.
! 7. Always remove the battery before repairing the
tool.
! 8. Cover the battery contacts to prevent a short
circuit.
! 9. Avoid the risk of explosion!
! 10. Do not smoke while charging the battery or in
the place of its storage. Damaged accumulators can
leak explosive gas - hydrogen, which can ignite from
an open flame or spark.
! 11. In case of fire, try to extinguish the fire with earth
or sand.
! 12. The battery and charger become slightly warm
during charging.
! Chemical hazard.
Do not open the battery case. Protect the battery from
impact. If the battery electrolyte leaks, contact with
the skin must be avoided. If the electrolyte does come
into contact with the skin, rinse the affected area
immediately with water. If electrolyte gets into your
eyes, seek medical attention immediately.
- Use protective equipment against noise, dust and
vibrations !!!
