USE AND OPERATION
ASIST tools are intended for home or hobby use only.
The manufacturer and importer do not recommend
using this tool in extreme conditions and under heavy
loads. Any other additional requirements must be
subject to agreement between the manufacturer and
the customer.
The product is completely assembled. Before use,
remove the clear plastic blade cover and store it for
reuse. The battery must be charged before use. If the
blades become jammed while cutting a branch, imme-
diately release the trigger switch and release the tool
lock. If you continue to hold the start switch while the
blades are locked, you will damage the engine.
IMPORTANT: Pay proper attention to the position of
the blades when working with this tool to avoid per-
sonal injury.
Charging (B1)
The charger and accessories in this package are
designed specifically for the device. Do not try to use
them with another device.
Do not charge the battery at temperatures below 4C°.
In a warm environment or after long-term use, the
built-in battery may become too hot. Allow the devi-
ce's battery to cool down before recharging.
Connect the charger plug to the charging socket fig.
B1 and insert the charger plug into the el. plugs.
Allow the battery to charge for 3-5 hours. This time
is enough for a full charge. Unplug the charger after
this time.
After charging is finished, pull out the charging adap-
ter from the plug, then pull out the charging plug from
the charging socket.
Caution: Never use a battery-powered tool while char-
ging the battery.
On and off (D1)
Turn on. Press the locking button (4) and press the
power switch (5).
Shutdown. Release the switch (5).
Changing knives
Do not turn on the switch before inserting or removing
the blades. Risk of injury!
The blades can be changed easily without the use
of other tools. To change the blades, you must first
remove the cover (A). Follow the steps shown in the
image. Grasp the tool with one hand, slide the clip (B)
upwards with your thumb and forefinger. Grasp the
cover firmly and pull it backwards and upwards.
Remove the knife and put on a new knife. Put the
cover on and push so that the clip B engages.
Cutting the hedge into shape
- It is recommended to cut the hedge in a trapezoidal
shape to avoid exposing the lower branches. It coin-
cides with the natural growth of the plant and benefits
it. During the cutting period, only one-year growths
are reduced, thereby developing dense branching
and a good screen.
